Meet the two brothers who have made sea turtle conservation their mission. They have been finding and rescuing sea turtle nests for the past 20 years and have created the sanctuary camp "Tortuga Feliz".
This excursion is done in the early morning or at
sunset.

There will be a short presentation about the types of turtles we see in this region and you can assist in the baby turtle release. Note that March and May there will
be less turtles , but there are turtles year round.

*By joining La Tortuga Viva activities, you directly support our community conservation program
and local communities. La Tortuga Feliz activities are subjected to natural conditions and availability
of local volunteers.

Visit Mario's Milpa

Join local farmer Mario and learn why corn is central to Mexican culture. Get your hands dirty planting and harvesting corn, working alongside him and his family in the field. Then, visit their home to make corn dough, form and cook tortillas over the fire, and eat together around the table. All in all, a unique experience in the area.

sleeves and long pants.
-All ages & no previous experience necessary
